Welcome to the University of Toronto PGME Electives System.

Medical learners seeking to undertake an elective with a supervisor from the University of Toronto postgraduate program must use this elective system to submit the required information and documentation.

To begin the process:

1. Ensure prior arrangements have been made with your home school program director, elective supervisor, and the University of Toronto program director.
2. Create an account by selecting 'CREATE ACCOUNT' (Please review elective approval requirements before creating an account)
3. Once logged in, click ‘ADD ELECTIVE” to provide all the necessary elective details, documents to submit the elective for approval.

The PGME elective system is not a request or holding system; all electives must be pre-arranged with the appropriate department. The online system is used solely for the approval of submitted applications.
